Current Program and Services for Young Adults Facing or Experiencing a Housing Crisis

Rapid Rehousing (South LA, Compton, South Bay)– Rapid Re-housing assist young adult, pregnant and young parenting families, and trafficking and domestic violence survivors who are at-risk of or who are already experiencing housing insecurity to reintegrate in the community by helping them obtain or maintain safe, affordable housing and by linking them to mainstream, community-based services they need through time-limited subsidies to secure housing.
Hope Connections (South Bay) – Hope Connections provides crisis, problem-solving, housing navigation, and support linkages services to youth and youth and young adults experiencing a housing crisis in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. Additionally, Hope Connections offers 15 beds of transitional housing in scattered-site apartments for young people, ages 18-24, up to 24 months.
Hope Link (South LA) – Hope Link provides 10 beds of short-term bridge housing up to 90 days for youth and young adults, ages 18 -22, waiting for a secured or verified housing destination such as transitional housing, AB 12 or Independent Living Program, apartment or dorm in South Los Angeles. Hope Link also provides 18 beds of transitional housing insecure young people, ages 18-24, up to 24 months.
Family Connect (South LA) – Family Connect helps youth, ages 16-24, who left or ran away strained family or household situations reconnect with their families by strengthening the family unit through family therapy and conflict resolution.
Foster Hope (Adams/South LA) and Sanctuary of Hope at NHS Sustainable Communities (Compton)– Two locations provide crisis, housing navigation, and support linkages for young people facing a housing crisis in the north and southern regions of South Los Angeles.
Hope Place (Antelope Valley) – Hope Place provides crisis intervention, system navigation, education supports, well-being services, and leadership development for youth ages 16 – 24.
