In February, six young women from Sanctuary of Hope benefited from a stress-free pamper day provided by No Girl Left Behind in partnership with Lunch With the Finance Bunch and Journey. The full service pamper treatment included a massage, full body makeover, professional photo shoot, and pamper bags.
No Girl Left Behind’s mission is to unite girls globally, creating a sisterhood that empowers young girls and women from all walks of life by education and liberating them from the false limiting perceptions and destructive patterns so that they may acknowledge their self-worth, gain a sense of confidence, identify their uniqueness, and access their full potential while supporting one another.
A big surprise for the young women was a dinner and live performance by No Girl Left Behind’s Founder and Season 9 American Idol contestant, Michelle Delamor.
“This is the first time I have ever had a photo shoot. I feel special and empowered to focus on my own self-care,” said participant Valencia Bernard.
