Thank you for being a part of the conversation and helping us to launch Homeless Youth Awareness Month.  On November 7, we had over 170 attendees join for awareness, advcocacy, and action to prevent and end youth homelessness.

We thank everyone who wrote a special inspiration love note to youth facing or experiencing housing insecurity.  Sometimes, a postivie word from caring adults lays the foundation for resiliency in the future.

Special thank you to Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church for hosting and welcoming guests.
We want to continue the conversation the whole month of December and beyond!

There are simple things you can do to keep the dialogue going:

1. Places of work, worship, and associations are great places to talk about the traumatic effects of youth homelessness.

2. Donate money or in-kind goods to homeless or at-risk youth serving local nonprofits.

3. Engage in advocacy and actions on all policy levels that touch homelessness, such as employment, education, and juvenile justice.

Everyone can do something, big or small.

Photos from Intimate Conversations on Youth Homelessness can be found here; and we hope that you enjoy the video above that captured the evening.
