The pathway to permanent housing is not easy as one thinks. The level of resiliency to cope and persevere amazes our team every day.   Angel’s path to home began with St. Margaret’s Center in the South Bay who referred her to Hope Connections for TAY-specific services.

Angel became homeless due to unfortunate life circumstances that caused her to be abruptly separated from her family. To help her get on her feet and re-build her self-confidence, she resided at our Hope Link Bridge Housing and Transitional Housing programs where she was provided intensive case management services, participated in a podcast on youth homelessness, and amassed a substantial savings.

Jeremy, ICMS Case Manager at Hope Connections, assisted Angel with connecting with landlords and securing an apartment with her voucher.

Life is abundant for Angel now that she has a permanent home. She’s a soon-to-be new mom and will be welcoming baby into an atmosphere of hope.
