WIN: Our Children LA’s Mobile App for Homeless Youth
WIN is a free mobile app designed to connect vulnerable youth, ages 12 -25, experiencing homelessness and resources insecurity with essential services. This app is developed and updated by Our Children LA. The App is available the Apple and Google store.
WIN offers over 1,400 service programs and 11 categories to begin a search. Search filters include service, location, age, gender, and population.
SSG/HOPICS and Home At Last 2016-2017 Winter Shelter
TAY Winter Shelter provides a safe place to sleep, case management, meals, and connections resources. TAY Winter Shelter only serves ages, 18 -24, and is open during the evenings hours only on a first-come basis during the Winter months from December to March. Youth experiencing homelessness must check-in by 6 pm to secure bed space.
Pick up location: Ruth’s Place, 4775 S. Broadway, LA 90037. Van leaves promptly at 4:30 pm. More pick up locations to be added.
