Sanctuary of Hope had one of our youth crowned Prom Queen. This is the first-ever prom queen crowning in our history! We are excited and proud that Tyeiona achieved a memorable moment in her life. SOH thanks CASA Los Angeles and The RightWay Foundation for the prom dress. We, also thank Director, Ms. Rosalyn Lee Director of College Bridge Academy, a high school program for youth ages 17-25, for helping Tyeiona realize her dream of a high school diploma.
Community partnerships with schools to advance our youth’s educational goals and stable housing with support services like SOH are important to the overall well-being of youth in our programs.
Tyeiona will be graduating with a high school diploma in July and has recently become employed with LAX. She plans on attending community college to obtain an Associates of Arts in child care.
